My wife is a school teacher here in Florida and her school set up to honor our Veterans. As part of the decorations, her principal asked if she would bring an army truck.
She agreed, so I drove the 1952 ambulance over to the school and left it a couple days. From what I understand, the kids had a great time crawling around in and on the ambulance (I removed a battery cable in case one of them figured out how to start it).
It’s against school rules to include students in photos, so I have uploaded an image of my wife and her teacher colleagues.
As a side note, it was a 36 mile round trip to the school. Nothing broke, no strange noises and I was able to resist firing off the siren. This trip makes 80 consecutive miles without a fault or other mechanical failure. What a success!

Re: Veteran’s Day Fun
My wife is a teacher also and we discussed my taking "Fiona" to her school for the kids. Just couldn't get the deal worked out in time... Maybe next year!
Great photos and great idea!
