Civilian Oil Pump

We will be installing a new civilian oil pump to match our new civilian distributor.
Rock Auto shows 2 oil pumps, a standard one and one with a right hand gear. I'm assuming the dodge 230 in an m37 would work with the standard pump.
Is that correct? Thanks
