John McNerney still here in Monkton VT with Brutus, my 1951 M37.

I know that powerwagontim is still around here in Monkton as well, since I just dropped "Brutus" at his shop for some work: swapping in a 251 engine, add a winch, rebuild transmission and transfer case, add front disk brakes with power boost.

BTW, Tim's profile lists him as a "Renovation Contractor" (his former finish carpentry business). He closed that business down almost 2 years ago and is now restoring Dodge Power Wagon and M-series trucks full time. His business is Distinctive Restoration, Inc. Tim has won awards for his restoration work.

Update: Tim started work this morning. Pulled the cowl:

I do wonder how many members miss the topics posted in the "Announcements" area. I almost missed it myself, since I'm so used to them being older stuff that I've already read that sometimes I skim right by it.

Hi Gary,

Busy working on my M43 ,'Angelina' rewiring the rear body fans units and heater..and lights.

Finishing off restoring the engine bay, and putting back the fenders and splash shields..

Im then moving on to adding the right hand rear light so ill have 2 rear lights, always better to be seen.i bought an original upgrade kit in the box ,so its period correct .

Hal here in UpState SC, just dropped (figuratively speaking) my transfer case, cleaned and painted it all nice and pretty, and waiting for Charles T to have an appointment for me to bring it up to his place for replacing the seals and gaskets. I have an appointment with my prostate CA oncologist later this week, but thus far still "undetectable' for that CA.

Sitting here with my coffee and Danish, sun in the windows, loving the longer days and sunlight.

All the best guys, and this forum has been an immense help for me in my own M42's rebuild saga...
