M37 arctic cab window frame
I have an arctic cab for the m37 that I will be restoring soon. I am looking for pictures on how the window frame goes because I do not have it and will need to recreate one. I have the window but am not sure how ethe frame worked since it is missing. Any help would be most appreciated.
Re: M37 arctic cab window frame
Can you post a picture of the top you have? There were a few tops used on these trucks, the two main styles being
1) a modified cckw style with a round rear window
2) an M37 specific one with a sliding rectangular window.
I have a Canadian truck with the sliding window if you need pictures of that one.
Regards
Rob

It is the Canadian style cab with the sliding window. I have the window, but I do not have the fame foe the window that bolts to the inside of the cab.

Ok, Here are a few basic shots. Let me know if you need anything more specific.
Note the 2" hole ripped in the cab below the window with the riveted plate over it. Not part of the original design!

Re: M37 arctic cab window frame
Thank you for the response. Looks like a little more fan work than I thought. I'll figure it out though
Re: M37 arctic cab window frame
On my top the window is shot...(literally someone shot at it) and rusted beyond repair. I'm wondering if a modern truck cab or camper top/work top could be used and if so does anyone know a specific model that can be purchased for replacement?
M37s are HMMWV in my world!
