The info on the Canadian trucks is very limited as compared to the US trucks.

M37CDN Cargo - 3071, This number includes 2339 M37's wo/w and 672 w/w. Also, some were converted to M42 command trucks but the exact number is not known.

M43CDN Ambulance - 409

M56CDN Cab & Chassis - 6

M152CDN Panel - 1038, The Canadian model differed from the US model in that it had 4 screened windows on each side and a single rear door.

The total Canadian truck number was 4524.

The serial numbers start at 91,400,001 and end with 91,404,524.

On the CDN trucks, I think RMS has most of them hidden in his yard somewhere and parts to build a few more...

A bunch of the M152 CDNs went from surplus in Ontario to SECO in Georgia years ago. I have seen pictures of them and some were posted on the old Big E forum years ago. I don't think any are left as SECO doesn't seem to do any M37 stuff anymore. It would be interesting to do a census of the CDNs and see how many are out there. I know some are in the hands of member here but a lot more are parked out back, somewhere. Canadian trucks were in service until into the mid/late '70s and many were used up by the time they were released.

wow those canadian numbers are low. I had thought the "close to 4500" was for m37s I did not know it included the other variants.

I cant believe more radio vans were made than ambulances.....wishing I never sold my m43

I think 8 m37s CDNs have been scraped to make my pile of parts and 6 complete m37s are stationed in the yard right now.......I missed out on a m152 last year....undoing the damage of a poorly executed 318 installation put me off but there is a guy down the road with one I keep asking for.....

from the stories Ive heard many CDN m37s are littering a ordnance testing facility and are still used for target practice to this day.

I passed up a compressor truck awhile back and haven't come across a decent one since.

I recall David Doyle's new Dodge books have a photo of an XM711 on display at Ft. Hood. I'd love to have one, as that's my favorite variant.

This is the only M283 I've ever seen, looks like the bed is one storage door longer.
