Passenger Seat Securing?

Post by delta31 »

Is there anything that holds down the passenger Seat plywood bottom like hinges or clasps?
We made a new one with 3/4 plywood and screwed some wood cleats to the bottoms so it does not move much front to back or side to side.
Was there something that kept it closed?

Thanks

There is a hasp on the leading edge to the seatbox.

There should be a pin that matches a socket in the outside corner of the seat board too.
