Welcome to the forum! That looks like a nice project truck you got there! I don't know how close you mean by "close," but I'm in Abingdon, IL. I was stationed at Scott AFB twice, and it used to take me about 4 hours to make the trip from there to here.

Welcome, great to have somebody else from St.Louis. I'm in Dittmer and work at A.B. I've got a 51 m37 that was totally rebuilt by Charles Talbert, so it's just about done, I like the m715 also, Ron

Dittmer! way cool. My buddys farm is Lembeck Lake just south of Desoto on 21 where the trucks spend alot of time wheelin. Well I got upset today with Vintage. I placed a order mon. at 9.00 a.m. and a guy named Yenz sayed ups would pick up that day. Turns out it has'nt left the warehouse yet, Wed. afternoon. So the truck will be blind till next week I guess. I had high hopes of having the fenders completed this weekend. Some pics.

Don't feel bad, I've been waiting for 5 weeks to have my gas tank done at renu in Il. Like you it won't get here til next week. It's the only thing keeping me from driving it. Good luck with yours and I hope I will learn someday how to post pictures

VROD02, Welcome to the forum and great looking project. I'm just outside of Decatur, IL (about 2 hrs away). I have a 51 M37 (and a couple of PW's).
