My first post!! LOL

Post by Pat Gray »

I have been a regular on the site but decided to register. I have had my M37B1 for quite a few years now and really enjoy driving it and working on it. I am also in need of some help. I have just found a fender mounted hot water heater and looking for the reducer from the heater box down to the 4" flex hose that goes into the cab. I anyone has a extra they want to sell please let me know. I purchased my truck several years ago and Sid Beck helped me with the parts to restore it. I am very fortunate to have been able to become friends with him. I live not to far from his home town and when he would come up to visit he would stop by the house and check up on my progress.
Looking forward to all the knowledge you all have.
Pat

Hello everyone,
Just want to say "Hi" and looking forward to all the information on the good ol M37. I have been checking on posts for quite a few years now and decided to register.
I bought my 1962 M37B1 several years ago and was able to get to be a good friend with Sid Beck. I am fortunate to met him quite a few times when he came up to Washington to his old home town. He would stop by the house and check up on my progress on my M37B1. (plus give him a shopping list.) I bought my truck in Nevada and the guy used it to drive to his gold mine, hunting, and playing out in the desert. I have just recently picked up a fender mounted hot water heater and its missing the reducer from the heater box down to the 4" flex hose. If anyone has one for sale please let me know.
Hope to get to know you all.
Pat

Great looking truck. Someone will chime in on the adapter you are looking for. You might try the usual suspects-Midwest military or Vintage power wagon.

Hi Bruce,
I contacted john and he does not have one. I don't know if you remember but you sent me a passenger seat bottom years ago. This is the truck it went into.
Thank you for the information.

I do remember, hope it all worked out for you? I've made ten or so patterns of the passenger seat base so far.
