Purely speculation but I doubt it or we'd have heard of tons of these conversions over the years; just my 2 cents.

Nope, it is one solid welded unit. :( All that is riveted is the backing plate.

Better to get a M101 axle, cut and widen.

Or buy shallow 15" lockring lowboy wheels that fit 6-bolt Budd.
