RC M37

Post by greencom »

Hey Guys,
Check out the fantastic radio controlled M37 model on You Tube. The fellow who built it should win an award. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAt63BdEV-k

Take Care all.

that is one cool RC truck. I wonder if the body was commercial or hand made.

Totally cool! I gotta have one! :D My guess is he built his own body on a Tamiya RC rolling chasis. I have not yet seen an M37 kit in any of the Tamiya catalogs.

It looks like he used the running gear from Tamiya's RC Toyota Hi-Lux pickup. The wheels aren't Hi-Lux wheels, though. We need to find a way of getting some contact information for this guy! If he built it himself, he must have made plans for it that he might be willing to reproduce and sell to us. Every time I watch that video, I drool all over my keyboard!

Yes, I noticed the framing of the shots and camera tracking were very good. The trail shots were excellent, he avoided for the most part objects that would give away the scale of the truck. Great soundtrack also. :)

That modeller is a craftsman, seriously good eye for detail in the Landy 110 he did, if the M37 body was available as a kit I'd already have one on order :-)
Take Care

Best Regards - MM :-)
