Re: Frame just about done.
The frame is looking good, can I ask why you are using hitch pins instead of bolts on the leaf spring keepers?

I used poly slide between the leafs, and could not get a bolt thru the hole!T. Highway wrote:The frame is looking good, can I ask why you are using hitch pins instead of bolts on the leaf spring keepers?

Re: Fuel tank fits!
I think that is going to a popular "upgrade." Maybe you can post how you did it some time.

Re: Fuel tank fits!
Very nice!
I used a Bronco 33 gallon Poly tank on the PW. The tank is 15" tall, rather than the 12" of the stock tank but I was able to fit it nicely, just no potential of a rear PTO with it.

Re: Fuel tank fits!
Great upgrade guys, what was the model year for these tanks? I'm sure others would need to know that if they plan on doing this.

Re: Fuel tank fits!
I don't know the year range, but the Bronco tank I used in the PW was a MTS Plastic Bronco 33 gallon fuel tank (425C1) with an MTS Bronco Sending Unit (73E/10F).
Re: Fuel tank fits!
The Ramcharger tank was a '78-'92 deal, the later tanks had the in tank fuel pump. When looking for these at salvage yards, note that they were also equipped with 25 gallon tanks. My tank is a non pump tank part # 4279528.T. Highway wrote:Great upgrade guys, what was the model year for these tanks? I'm sure others would need to know that if they plan on doing this.
