Distributor parts

In need of the snap ring that holds the mechanical advance in place . And idea where I can get open ??

If it's the ring I think it is (ORD part number 5346767), here are the specs for it, with the NSN at the bottom. There's a cross reference for this part on

I need a dist part also. the washer that goes inbetween the retaining hub on the shaft and the bottom of the distributor. so if you find anyone parting one out let me know. thnaks

You could form that out of a guitar string or piano wire if you can't find one.

Or substitute an external snap ring (aka "retaining ring"). Easier to source, and easier to remove and install.
