Differences in the NP200 vs NP201?

Post by 06boblee »

Is the gasket and seal kit the same for both? I bought a set and it is for the 201, will it work on my 200?

I can't answer for sure but I thought the 201 had a pto port on it. Contact DC Trucks, as he will know and does carry parts for most of our stuff.

The NP201 also differs from the NP200 in the use of a "knock" gear (a cushioned gear that apparently chews up its internal springs resulting in a knocking sound) and rear axle output through a direct drive instead of through the idler gear. But I think the gasket sets should interchange, except, obviously, for the PTO opening if the NP201 has it.

I got my kit from DC trucks, and it does not have a PTO gasket. I bought this a couple of years ago and am just now needing to use it- I wrote 201 on it , maybe I was wrong.
