My story for the markings. The truck is marked for a Explosive Ord. Disp. unit in Korea during 1952 attached to the 4th Fighter Intercepter Wing.
Orig. a Army truck, the USAF "aquired" the truck for their use.
This is what were saying cause my dad and I own the truck and I wanted army and the OD (Painted alot of parts already) and he wanted Airforce and Strata Blue. So we comprimised and came up with this story.

My WC-51 had a very similar marking with a circle with what looked like a 4 prop properler inside of the circle.
