$11.99 to ship it from the Ukraine? Seems low.

Hmm... :|

Funny thing about models..........I used to build them as a kid and loved them. I built them primarily because I'd never be able to afford them in real life. But now I can afford an M37.........so no need for the model. But I still have my 1/16 scale Tiger 1 sitting on my printer! Don't think THAT one is in my future anytime. :D

That M37 model is cheaper here;

Picked one up myself... Had to have it... think it will be a little bigger than the paper model... Will post pictures of the kit later today for you guys... I did notice it does have quite a bit of detail to it for the size... It does have the option to go with the winch or winch-less... There is no option to relocate the tire from the door to the bed... Also the box shows the canvas rolled up... The canvas is not rolled up you would have to do a little cutting and melting to do that... Also no provision for the antenna... Little plastic and piece of spring wire should fix that I suppose... The headache racks are quite well molded I was surprised... Sad thing is I will get this done before I complete my M... :oops:

If you're real creative, here's a pretty incredible R/C model of the M37:

The kit is quite small in the picture is a 1/24 VW beetle and as you can see the bed length is about as wide as the VW...
The Black string is included in the kit to wind on the winch spool... Not really impressed with the decals but at a hobby
supply closer to the original decals can be obtained...

None the less I had to have it...

Saw that remote control unit some years ago... just don't have the time to fabricate something like that...I got a Dodge to finish... :lol:

Take all the parts off of the plastic frame and spread them around randomly in a doll house garage and you'd have an exact replica of my truck! :mrgreen: :lol: :roll:

I have enough of a problem cutting the parts off and not losing them on the floor... Makes me want to work on the real thing... I'll have to post some pictures when I'm done...

Thanks for the pics and info Oddjob. Looks like a decent kit. I will have to pick one up. I thought it might show up in the latest Squadron catalog but not yet.

Has anybody seen this tin model from Russia?:

Looks nice, I would be worried about shipping a fragile model from that far, you may wind up with flat sheet metal by the time it arrives :lol:
