Door window seals popping out

I have an annoying issue with the seals that are attached to the cab roof for the doors. You screw on the metal piece and you slip in the rubber seals after. If you do it with no glue they pop out every time the window hits it when you close the door. I've tried weather strip adhesive and that don't hold. Thee manual calls for weather strip cement. What is that?

The yellow 3M adhesive does pretty well. You may also want to take a piece of wood and slightly close-up/crimp the metal retainer edges after you have seated the rubber. This holds rubber tighter.
