there is a fuel injection system that bolts in the place of a four barrelKaegi wrote:they make 4 barrel manifold for slant 6s (5 cubes smaller than 230) and dual weber kits for 4 bangers so why not? no I never tried it. 2 barrel would probably be enough in any situation but I like the way the AFB carbs perform. super reliable smooth powerm-37Bruce wrote:Really, a four barrel? Do you think it would work, have you tried it yet? I know if your did, you also did your brakes.Kaegi wrote:I have shaved as much as .075 off the head. and added bigger cam. you must install cam and measure valve height before milling head to make sure valve don't slam into it. ;/) all these changes really wake these engine up. totally worth it in my experience. big rewards with very little investment. I thin would be cool if someone made a 4 barrel manifold. could run a lean 500 afb.
Happy New Year!
an adapter could be fabricated from a dual 2 barrel intake to your 4 barrel carb
Thanks,TRAVIS
