That member would be me, if we're talking the truck in Kodiak. It will be in Homer on the ferry first thing Tuesday morning. Haven't seen it in person yet but the previous owner said there's a chance the engine still turns over. If it turns out the engine is toast... I'll get a chance to rebuild one.

Isaac, That's a pretty good catch. It looks like the fibreglass Wittenburg type hardtop and has the custom passenger door mod. How did the trip off Kodiak go? Did you have it shipped to Homer or make the trip yourself? This time of the year, it would be an interesting ferry ride for sure, depending on the weather but also for the views on the way. Kodiak is on my list for the next time up that way for sure. More pics are always appreciated...

I had it shipped to homer, via tow truck and ferry, and picked up by a friend in homer. The ferry dock worker, who was also the truck owner, said the weather was very nice with blue skies and very light winds. Would have been a fun trip, but I'm down in Arizona for a few days right now and had s chance to go to the AMVCC show.

It will probably need both doors, and the section between the hood hinges and the windshield. From what I can see the rest is pretty good

Isaac, What's the plans for this one? Long tow home to Fairbanks or elsewhere? I was surprised to see a lot of the older stuff up there, including M37s were not too badly rusted when they were located away from the coast. Around here, everything rusts just by looking at it and tarps are enemy #1. Show some pics of the dump mechanism when you get that far. Don't worry about delays, as we are all in for the long haul.

If you guys want more photos go to kodiak military museam that's where I found the truck. Of course I am glad I found Isaac as there was no way I could get it home.
