i have a m43b1 that has had a 318 installed the PO said he wired the lights to work
my issue is i want all the gauges ,horn,heater and stuff to work as well
but all that is 24v
how do i make it so everything but the engine (i guess) is 24v?
any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

No link, but that is the rating of the one I used. Get it from a US or Canada seller. Don't pay more than $30usd.
The instruments draw less than an amp. I would swap the horn to 12v with the lights. You need to measure current draw on the heater to see if 9 amps is enough. ( my 24v spotlight draws 6 amps.)

as an aside
if the heater in this rig is anything like the one in my 63 willys jeep
i will disconnect the worthless thing
keep it for looks and install a 30000 btu aftermarket one

Your best option and the smartest decision is certainly to change out the gauges, lighting, horn, and fan motor to 12-volt components. The high cost conversion items are electrical components on the engine, since you already have that done; you have it made. Only thing remaining to get you a full out 12-volt conversion is cheap stuff, and all of it is locally available.billy wrote:ok
