P/S Keyslot Knockout?

Post by knattrass »

OK - most knockouts on the truck make sense but there is one on the lower passenger side shaped like a key slot that is also on the outer panel. I've never seen any passenger side attachments like on the driver's side there is the slave cable - what passes thru the p/s?

The key shaped knockout is for the powerplant heater. The passenger running board was moved back (henth the extra holes in the running board) and the heater mounted between the running board abnd the fender.

Thanks for the response! Makes sense.

I was taking the w/s latch hooks off to paint and heard a clunk. rattle, thunk. Looks like my right side backing bracket did a little drop into the hole... going to try a magnet to fish but may end up exploring that knock out ....hmm.
