My torque bar only goes to 100. Whats the best way to torque lug nuts? Do they make a torque bar for an impact gun that goes that high and will a standard 100 psi gun be strong enough?
Thanks,

The spec is 200 to 225 ft/lbs. I have found anything under 175 just keeps coming loose. Harbor Freight sells a 3/4" drive torque wrench good for 300 ft/lbs. But it is one way. You need to dismantle the head and turn it around to tighten the left hand threads. (Or like I did, buy two wrenches and paint the handles red and green for direction. They are only $80 each on sale.)
"It may be ugly, but at least it is slow!"

The stock dogbone wrench and a 24" bar does it for me. Step on it till it gives up a little 'squeak', you're done.
Maybe a drop of oil on the studs, never anything on the bevel.
Never had one come loose in over 40 years of driving G741's.

I agree, the Military stock lug wrench works fine when you hear the squeak then its tight.
