In country pictures of the M37?
Does anyone have any in country pictures or the best place other than Google for some shots on the M37 in Vietnam? Im trying to find a few good ones of them for a display im setting up to explain the M37 and such. Thanks!

A friend of mine is the one with the big ears in the back.
Sand bags were for a little extra blast protection from the real land mines as well as the make-shift ones the NVA would put into roads during the night. He said the M37 was called "the 3/4 ton" among the troops. This was not a "gun truck" per se. although it had the mounted M60.

I love those active duty, in-country pictures of our trucks "back in the day". The restored ones are nice, but I like to see how they were used for real.

Wish I had more, but it was just common, every day life at the time.....

Thanks, I wanted the public to see what my truck looked like in country. And the TONS of different ways units used them and how funny all the markings look diff and such. It also gets the Vets going by seeing the trucks back over there where they were.
I had about 15 pictures printed at Wal Greens for my display board at shows.

Great pictures. The first one is very interesting. Life of a grunt. One has an M79 and the other I at fist thought was a M1 carbine but then realized that it's an M14 with the stock sawed off to have it just a pistol grip. Very interesting.
M37s are HMMWV in my world!
