100 amp system parts value

Post by xm708 »

Anybody know what the value of 100 amp m37 stuff is worth ? I have three generators, 5 regulators of different styles including carbon pile type and 3 rectifiers and cables. Trying to finance new gas tank..

The problem, xm708, is shipping. The parts are valuable, but the shipping costs wipe out that value pretty quickly.

I'd really like to have a set of spares for my 100 amp system, but shipping them from Vermont and then testing / repairing / rebuilding them becomes prohibitive.

So, they are valuable, but you can only realize that value by selling them to someone near enough to you to pick them up.

I'd buy a complete system in a heartbeat if I didn't have to pay shipping (all the way across the country).

If you live near a city, LTL terminal to terminal freight isn't too costly. I've done stuff up to 600lbs that way for about $150 with SAIA. For 75 lbs, Greyhound package express works well.

Glad to hear you got them sold, Ed. It's good to know that they have a new home and are not headed to scrap. :D
