Last night since it was dry with rain forecast for the next 6 days, I decided to exercise the old 230 a bit more. Took a couple more teammates for a spin around the campus, and even let my motorhead buddy drive it a lap. About half-way around the loop, he exclaimed "Man, I've got to get one of these!" I, of course, had to rag him about the driver that sold on eBay earlier this month for a thousand bucks that he could have had, but I don't think he was convinced until he got to drive it. When we got back to the team area he said (since I have to complete them with my team every month) "best 1 on 1 ever", with a big grin on his face!"
I also intentionally ran it out of gas (on the trip home) to confirm the freshly working fuel gauge reads as accurately on "E" as well as "F". It does, and I had the full jerry can ready-once added, the gauge read around 1/4 tank so I think I can shut the door on the fuel gauge project.
Next-Topeka and the MVPA National....

Re: Another trip to work in the M...
Gary,
Glad to hear that the gas gauge is functioning properly. I also carry an extra jerry can of fuel because I never fully trust the gauge. Glad to hear that more teammates got a chance to ride in your M37. I can imagine how big of a smile your motor head buddy had on his face while driving.
Looking forward to the MVPA in Topeka.
