To make it as fruitful as possible we need to plan ahead a couple of years. Get as many people in the hobby but not on this site to also load up and make the trek. When I get closer to completion I will get a spot and load up all the leftover parts in an effort to take back the space. It would be nice to get some gas/hotel money out of it and know that someone else got what they needed to complete their truck. But most importantly....not have to lug them back home!

This has been my experience. Trying to explain it to my wife does not improve her opinion of my rationality / sanity.
You guys are approaching it the wrong way. Tell your wives that the parts you've accumulated have already doubled or tripled in value since you bought them......and will only go up in price. You can't find an investment that good with that rate of return anywhere. Of course this implies that you WILL sell them someday.
Thanks Bert, sort of makes me feel that all the work has been worth it. I still have a leaking pinion seal to deal with, work never ends on these things.

Already told her that about some of my other material investments, won't say what on here, never know who is doing all of that "Domestic Intel. Gathering".

That guy was there last year and did the same thing. Ran around on the red golf cart the whole show. The only way I got something was to camp out there and wait.
Chris P. and I both picked up a G741 hat. Nice!
It seems each year there are less good M37 parts at the show.
I enjoyed the rally. It was good to meet some of the guys from this forum. Thanks to Carter for the G741 hat! I'll be sure to wear it when I go back next year.

Wonder why he bothers to attend if he is always gone. I did talk to that guy just did not know he was the man with the parts. He wanted info on a M5 generator set he has and I told him about SmokStax forum.
Thanks for getting those hats, mine is salty stained from sweat from wearing it for 2 days, needs a bath. we'll see how that turns out.
