My M37
1954 Dodge M37 3,300 miles. I have to repaint interior as truck was a orange color (county truck). /// Had mine delivered last weekend! I love it. Everything works....needs a few things but what fun to drive. I took it out today....Great day for a drive. Wisconsin

Re: My M37
That is a very nice truck, Kilroy! It looks like the county kept it away from "Bubba".
You are very close (comparatively) to two excellent suppliers, Midwest Military and New Life Canvas. If you are looking for a top, try Mona at New Life Canvas. She does superb work and they are the best fitting tops you'll find.
Good Luck with your truck!

Re: My M37
Thanks! The truck tires are "Super Swamper" TSL Bogger 38.5x11.00 16 lt on split rim beadlocks. They were on it when I purchased the vehicle. I live near Marshfield Wisconsin and I will be checking out New Life Canvas. Took it to town today...probably sucked up 20 gallons
I will be picking up the kids today from school!! Can't wait. They have been wanting a ride in it. Love this forum. Lots of info here....the build forum is where I spend most of my time. Thanks again for the welcome. Look forward to being here!

Make sure to never trust your gas gauge. Know how many miles you have left with a little safety factor or a spare 5 gallon can with you.

My new plates
I just changed the pinion seal this weekend. It went good...I suggest using the seal removal tool by craftsman. Took about 5 minutes to remove old seal. Now to get fluids back in it. So far no major issues with my purchase. I am lovin my M37!

Re: My M37
What did you use for a replacement pinion seal?
Re: My M37
20 Gallons ! how far did you get on that ?
Re: My M37
Pinion Seal : stock with leather insert....soaked in Neetsfoot Oil for 24 hours and installed. No leaking...and works Great. Purchased from Army Surplus warehouse online.
Re: My M37
Ausb1...Every time I move the M I put $20 in it...I always keep tank about 3/4 full. Put some miles on it and did not run out. I can't say it won't happen
I need to get the Jerry Can
