My T-245 engine Rebuild

Post by DCook »

I have checked in often, and copied a lot of the knowledge shared. I now am in process of pulling my engine to repair loose sleeves. I,m looking for the best solutions for engine overhaul gaskets, crank seals, and transmission seals. I appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks

Engine gasket set: Fel-Pro or Best Gasket http://www.bestgasket.com/, VPW
Crank Seals: Best Gasket http://www.bestgasket.com/, Midwest Military, VPW
Transmission seals: Find a local bearing / seal shop for these
Transfer case: Find a local bearing / seal shop. If the shift rods are pitted email or call Charles @ M-Series Rebuild for new rods and seals.

Avoid NOS seals and gaskets if you only want to do this once.

I hope this helps,

Bert
