Are you are referring to the Pertronix electronic ignition module? I installed one on my truck about three years back. It works great and I have had no issues.
We have them in stock at M-Series Rebuild.

Mine are almost 2 years now and they're still doing good. got it relatively cheap from partsgeek (prices are a tad similar with auto parts warehouse)
