WTB; LR Shackle, Hood Clip, Single Plug Light Sw.
Going to keep editing/updating this list, thought I'd leave a list of the stuff I've received so others could use it in the future.
Received:
Shoe Hold Down Springs: new parts from John at Midwest
Small bracket that anchors the control cables for the PCV to the uppermost stud on the carb: new parts from John at Midwest
Ord-9: new from John at Midwest
Engine Lifting Eye: used from Bob at VV
Diffs: working w/ Bob at VV
Still looking:
Hood holder clip that retains the hood holder against the windshield frame when it's vertical, it's shown on page 31, Figure 16 of TM 9-8030.
LR Lifting Shackle, shown on page 369, Fig. 199 of TM 9-8030
LH Lower Engine Compartment Splash Shield
Good used copie of TM 9-8031-2 manual, used is good, it's going to get more used!
Single Plug Light Switch, Needed for harness swap, I have the older 2 plug version.
Thanks!
Andy

Re: WTB: brake bits, hood holder, PCV bkt., F/R Diff.
Hi Andy,
Those retainer springs are available in a repair kit-try John at Midwest Military; he also has just started reproducing the hood retaining rod;
I have no info on the pcv bracket-perhaps someone can pull one off a parts truck for you.
I also failed to mention Surplus City Jeep parts up in Oroville-they also have M37 parts and might have a t/o center chunk or two close enough for you to pick up.

Re: WTB: brake bits, hood holder, PCV bkt., F/R Diff.
I have the hood prop assemblies used.. A stack of axles down back if I defrost one I can probably find four steel retainers and as for the retainer do you have a pic or a part number for it to be sure I have the right one ???

Gary,
I spoke w/ John at Midwest today and have some goodies on the way. He did have the springs we need. I also spoke w/ Chuck at Surplus City and he's checking on some T/O items for me.
Ed,
Thanks for the reply, I've found brake shoe springs (see above) but am still looking for the hood prop retainer spring for the arm that secures the hood when vertical.
Then there's the diff. question...spoke with some vendors and trying to decide most cost effective option. No rush now, we have plenty to do before the big green monster hits the road again.

If I read that right I think you are looking for the retainer clip that holds the rod for the hood or are you missing the rod and spring clip ? This is the holder that is on the windshield correct ??
Re: WTB: brake bits, hood holder, PCV bkt., F/R Diff.
I thought he was looking for the retaining rod itself (which John now reproduces). I don't know who has the spring clips-I lucked into a used rod and clip from Marc.

Re: WTB: brake bits, hood holder, PCV bkt., F/R Diff.
I'm looking for the spring clip that goes in the upper right hand corner of the windshield. I've made the rod.
Re: WTB: brake bits, hood holder, PCV bkt., F/R Diff.
For sure-John is great supporter of our hobby and has a number of military vehicles himself. I assume he didn't have your spring-they are hard to find.
