Very inspiring.... i had thought about doing an extra-cab lengthening to my M37 but the crew cab looks really good

M376x6 used to post here and had the dual axles but I don't think he made a crew cab on his-I recall he used a WC63 frame and worked the M37 body panels into that frame-looked very cool.

Brian Sage's 6x6 M37 had a longer, custom tray made from 2 M37 trays and the rear frame, suspension and maybe diffs of the vehicle were from a WC series 6x6 plus he had a 360 Cui V8 to get it mobile (very mobile I suspect!!). Brian has not been on here for a long time but you never know, he may chime in....
There was another pic of a dual cab M37 floating about, I think it had the longer type chassis and the tray was a cut down to size affair so I suspect it was made from a maintenance truck or similar.

Got the cabs joined up now just need to weld in supports and fill all of the gaps.

It's looking good, mind you, and I am trying not to offend you but with that much length in added to the chassis it's turning radius will be shitful, maybe shorten the front of the tray a bit and bring those rear wheels back in closer to the back of the second cab or were you planning that anyway?

I am planning on shorting the frame that's why the rear half is still bolted together. it looks like I may take out 20" of frame. I didn't know how long the extra cab would be until I had it built that's why I made the frame rails extra long. I'm still going to use the full length bed.

I can't wait to see the final shape, I guess the pictures and their perspective make the truck look overly long, I am sure you know what you are doing and after your large truck project you have all the kinks ironed out....
