Insturment Panel Lettering

Post by w30bob »

Howdy Boys,

First, is the lettering on the instrument panel stenciled on in paint or water transfer decals? None of my panels have any lettering left, so I can't investigate further. Second, does anyone make a stencil or sell the water transfer decals in the correct font? I don't want a rectangular clear decal with the lettering behind it..........just doesn't look right. So what are you guys doing to replicate the lettering??

thanks,
bob

There are some water transfer decals on the instrument cluster panel and below it. The High Beam, Fuel and Fording Plug notice are water transfer decals.

If you would like a picture of them I can send you one.

I believe Rick Larsen has the decals.

Hi 52,

I've never seen the Fording Plug notice. If you could post a pic......or send it via an email (w30bob@verizon.net) I'd sure appreciate it!

thanks,
bob
