repair or rebuild?
Took the 37 out for a spin yesterday and started to get some rod knock, nursed it home and it was fairly bad when I got back.
I think I had a rod bolt come loose I was in the lower end lately and while in there checked the torque. So what are the chances I'll be able to repair the problem vs having to rebuild it? I already have my M38 torn down for resto and can't do a rebuild for this for a while, long term plans are for a rebuild / resto. Just need an idea, of course I'll know more after I get the pan off but that will be a couple of weeks at best.

Like you said, you'll have to have a look at what may be going on, impossible to make an accurate guess most likely.tmbrwolf wrote:Took the 37 out for a spin yesterday and started to get some rod knock, nursed it home and it was fairly bad when I got back.I think I had a rod bolt come loose I was in the lower end lately and while in there checked the torque.
