Well, I sold my 1954 Marine Corp truck and a transport truck picked it up this morning at 6:30am. I got my asking price, and I added 4 extra tires and rims to the deal. It is heading to California, bad news is is ending up in Japan. Some owner of a company in Japan bought the truck through a broker (I think)
1 nice truck and 1 yard beater gone, now I have to sell my 1987 Olds 442. The herd is getting smaller, well, maybe, I just got a 2015 Yukon XL to fill the empty barn space.

Wow! Your truck is going to a collector in Japan? That is amazing. Japan has some very strict auto laws. I wonder what hoops he had to jump through to import it.
Glad you got your asking price. These trucks must be getting so old they are starting to attract the "collectors".
I still just think of them as cheap and simple 4X4s. Times change.

I still have 2 more M-37's, a M-38, a 1970 W-200 Powerwagon and a 442. Plenty to keep me busy.
The other M37 went to some owner of a company in Japan, he had a broker do all the work. Actually I had the truck and the payment for about 6 weeks before it was picked up. Age, health and a new grandson, it is time to down size. I wish someone would come down here and buy some of the hard to ship parts, gas tanks, front fenders, doors, bed sides and more.

That had to be tough to let it go-I don't know how I'll face up to that eventuality myself since I've been getting mine in shape for the past 10 years....
