M37 restore
my truck has been gone for 4 -1/2 years to two different people to try to somewhat restore it, havnt hade much luck, didnt get a lot of parts back with the last so called rebuild, so I am wondering if there is anyone out there near northwestern Pa. or close that would work on this M37 to get in a better driveable condition.
Re: M37 restore
Hi squeeky0,
You didn't mention who made the attempts on restoring your M, whether they were professional resto shops or non-professionals. There are a number of military vehicle restorers in the northwestern NJ area that I believe have good reputations. I'm not near a copy of Army Motors/Supply line, but they're listed in there. You can also find the contact info for guys in both the RedBall and the Military Transport Assoc (MTA) military vehicle clubs in that area..........I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.
regards,
bob

Maybe consider one that's done or closer to being done. I hope they didn't take advantage of you on what little damage or progress they've already done.

I know a great one in Minnesota, if that is not too far.
You can ship the truck to him.

"didn't get a lot of parts back" ?
Where did they go? Did you have an inventory list of what was with the truck, if they did not get put on the rig then what did the person do with them? I second Bob's question, were these guys next door or professional shops? Is this engine and drivetrain work, body, or all?
What entails your rebuild?
If it is a reputable shop expect a wait as they will have a backlog for total restoration projects.
