Update on my Leukemia

Post by DAP »

Thank you for all your prayers. I believe God is bringing healing. I am still in the hospital but my blood levels are slowly coming up. My 2nd bone marrow test showed no cancer cells. I get another test next week.

Someone gave me a laptop to use while in the hospital and when I am feeling well enough I read the forums. I can Skype with my wonderful wife any time during the day so she doesn't have to make the 1 hour drive to the hospital each day. I look at the weather and keep thinking this would be a great day to take the M37 for a drive, if I could.

Dan,
I'm saddened to hear about your illness, God bless you and yours, a close friend of mine recovered from the same thing. He has been in remission for a very long time.

Dan,

I just completed a six-month regimen at the MD Anderson clinic in Gilbert, AZ. The DA-EPOCH treatment for Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, which is the other blood cancer.

I have every reason to believe you will make a complete recovery, as I am officially cured as of last month. Modern medicine can beat liquid tumor cancers 90% of the time today.

Stay on the plan, muddle through the effects of chemo on you, keep a positive attitude.

Back in hospital this week for first of 4 rounds of consolidation chemo treatments. Blood levels to start are much better than when I first began this whole process at the end of April. If interested go to www.prayfordan.com and subscribe to updates and you will get email posts an hour after I make them.
