Just posting for anyone who has interest in checking this out.
Doug, the owner of the "Budd" Cummins M37 project we completed back in 2010 called me this morning saying his truck is featured in the new movie premier, "Need For Speed." Filming was done in the Atlanta, GA area late last spring. My understanding the scene is at a truck stop fueling station, and some good views of the truck are shown. We are rural around here, so the movie has not yet reached local theatre in our area. I'm looking forward to seeing it in coming weeks when it reaches us. Steven will have more info about it posted on our facebook page, M Series Rebuild LLC.

Chris and Steven who work in the body shop are attending the facebook page, so honestly I'm not much involved with that endeavor. They are trying to post up some of the day to day activities around here, thanks for joining, hope you enjoy keeping an eye on M Series.

I have also joined the page.
Typically I wouldn't watch that type of movie, but now I will have to make an exception! Do you know how it all came about?

I don't have the story in detail. What I know is the contact came through a Dodge dealer who was contacted by the movie people in search of this type of truck. They knew about Doug's truck and put the 2 in contact with each other. They were able to come to an agreement. There is of course more to the story, which we may find out later.

I got a chance to take all our M Series guys to see the movie last night. A good show that will keep you on the edge of your seat for sure. The setting with the M37 is at a fueling station in Nebraska; some good views of the truck.
