Bending door hinges; source for pins

I need to bend the top hinge on my driver's side door. The top of the door needs to be moved towards the front of the truck because the top rear edge of the door hits the body when it closes, and the top rear corner of the window hits.

Has anyone has any luck at doing this? Any tips or suggestions for what procedure will work?

If I need to remove the pin that holds the hing to the door, is there a source for a replacement pin?

I had a similar issue. To remove the pin I got a long punch and drove the door pin out. Bending, I just clamped it in a vise and gave it a hit with a large hammer.Try it on the truck and if that didn't work remove it and hit it again. All I could do was guess at the angle I needed.I don't think you'll need any pins, I had mine out several times.If you happen to close up the pin hole a little, I used a drill bit to reopen the hole.

I got new door hing pins from Vintage Power Wagons in Iowa. The pins are long and have a threaded end so you could add a mirror bracket if you wanted or simply cut off the end.
