Something odd about the tires, like the outside diameter is too small. Different rims on the Budd centers, maybe?

Civilian Power Wagon rims?

My error. I usually put on my steel pot when I go to one of the military Dodge web sites. It helps me remember that we are discussing all the fine Dodge military trucks that served to preserve the American way of lie. I still had my "pot" on when I posted. And I was looking at a photo of a military truck.
The 1/2 ton I referred to was the miliary Dodge WC. I have bought several M37's which came with the 1/2 ton truck rims. I am aware they are not correct and I found out how difficult it can be to swap out those wrong wheels.
I need to loosen my steel pot and be sure I make it clear that I'm thinking "military" when I'm on a military web site. To be accurate, the only 1/2 ton Power Wagon was the W100 starting with the 1957 Power Giant. Standard for the W100 were 7 x 17.5 six ply tubeless tires with eight ply tires optional.
You must BUY the book if you want to go BY the book.
