Not Mine

Post by m-37Bruce »

But worth a look if your looking for a F/A kit?

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ZAA077-46461-1394.html

They appear to be all over the place on manufacturer's, but I bet you could be specific about what your looking for. On eBay they are all over the place $ wise.
Just a heads up.

I went and looked at the box at Cheaper. The dimensions given seem a little big for the spot where the box goes. Can you post the dims for the first aid box so I can compare them to the box at Cheaper? THanks

First Aid Kit

Post by m-37Bruce »

Both of my kits are the same, the newer one, the following data is scribed into the bottom of the box as well as a Cadueses (sp, med logo) in the very center; ROIS MFG CO
DSAI 120-68-C-4018
The measurements are; 9.5" long X 5" wide X 3.3/8" deep, the five inches includes the clips, all four operate, only two of them release from the lid/bottom.

The second one came from Restoration Hardware, 49.95, but landed on sale a couple of years ago for 25 bucks, the only real diff was the indent on the lid & no handle on the end?
Personally I would buy several of them?
Hope This Helped,

Hi Bruce Thanks so much. The dimensions on the Chaeper than Dirt box are almost the same 9.5x5x3.5 only 1/8 off on thickness. When I measured I thought that the box was too close to the door. Your pics are very good and show that the kit does indeed come very close to the door.
I think I will order a box or two and put some first aid items in. thanks again Rick

Well I got the boxes from Cheaper Than Dirt and was dissapointed. The boxes I got were not even close on the dimensions .The catalog called out 9.5X5X3.5. WHAT I GOT was 7X10X3 not even close to fitting. Beware they need to update that catalog :x
