I heard it is a drop in fit, other than the exhaust

Spend a lot of quality time with a tape measure first and foremost. Exhaust will be the challenge, as it is on most engines that are not flat heads or small blocks. If not both sides having issues, then one side for sure... You probably won't be able to make any concrete judgements until its hanging on the hoist over the rails.

Although if Josh can fit a Dodge 400 with twin turbo's on it under the hood, I'm sure you can make a 440 fit....

Doesn't Blair Olsen have a 440 in his 37?

Starter to steering gear clearance, oil filter to front crossmember, and cooling will be the issues, otherwise it will fit. Tim Peterson had a 440 in his truck.
