I can't find the pics! Where are the pictures you posted? I know you wouldn't come here with a great story and not post pics? Would you?

We're very visual here. We need some pics. :D

That is a great way to honor them. I did the same thing and put my stepsson's 1st outfit on the bumper. It is a great feeling. Thanks to your sons for their service :)

My Oldest son just returned from Kuwait. I asked him to give me his truck numbers so I could put them on my M37. We're happy to have him return. Thanks to all that served.

I am going to be stenciling up my M37 as a Vietnam era 9th Inf Div truck. I served with the 9th from 1985 to 1987. I have my M1009 stenciled with the unit and bumper number of my vehicle while I was with the 1st Inf Div (FWD) in Germany and Iraq, MI-212. That, however was an M-577 and not a M1009.

Hal,

My truck is stenciled as a 9th Inf, 15th Combat Engineers Command truck, H&HQ Co.

I was in the Army from '68 to '71 and not in Germany (I wanted to go to Germany, but the Army wanted me elsewhere). I was also not in the 9th Inf nor in the Engineers.

Interesting coincidence about the truck markings though.
