Parting out 53 M43

Post by xm708 »

guys I have had an m43 in the back yard about a year now and have decided it is time to sell the good stuff. The truck was complete but have sold pass seat cab cieling metal rear heater, rear door strikers. body in the rear is cooked but is there anything anybody needs ? plans are sell all useable stuff torch the body off and toss it on the trailer and fill it with scrap steel once mud season is gone. let me know if you need something it will be here a couple of months easy.

thanks

Hmmmm! Looks like it would take a bit of work, not to mention money, but I think it could be saved. :)

Ed, I think your green sickness is the worst I've seen. In searching for the m43 on the registry page, I came across at least five other of your trucks before pg 17. I'm glad one of us is doing all they can to save the remaining bits and pieces.

Larry I definately have the sickness. When you check the registry sort them by state then check vermont and you will be even more impressed I have or have had more than 5. If I had 5 the wifey would be happy. lifer the m43 is a total loss just rusty. The back still has the racks no surgical light but there are still some good stuff. The only problem is when its gone the 4 year old will say daddy where is my ambulance.... by the way his name is Braden I think we know where that came from !!!!

As long as Braden's middle name isn't Winch, he'll be okay. ;)
