This is OFF Topic but I got an E-Mail from a demented stranger, E-Mail address (VoiceOfFreedom@inter(dot)net) and the author's handle is Muad'Dib (shades of Dune, why not use your real name if you truly beleive in what you say) stating that the Sandy Hook shooting never happened and it was staged to promote gun reforms, the author also stated that we should keep our guns but for God's sake, as if this shooting was staged and anyone that thinks this are total and complete dickheads. If you got my address from here then Bugger (Edited Myself, apologies for saying the "F" words) off and stop bothering real people in the real world, go back to your conspiracy theory box and don't come out....EVER.....You're a discrace to society you vile pieces of crap.... The Sandy Hook shooting was a tragedy, no doubt about it, I personally believe guns should be controlled better but not removed from the user, just regulated as to whom has them and how they are stored.
Has anyone else received this rubbish and who do I report it to as I have every intention of doing so, sorry to Rant here but this is something that Pissed me off to the max, these people need to be taken to task and punished accordingly.
Tony,
There seems to be an inexhaustable supply of "Ratbags" in the world. I've encountered quite a few myself. I've seen some of the "conspiracy" theories floating about, and it has the same fecund aroma as the "911 conspiracy tripe". It seems whenever tragedy strikes whether it be caused by humans or nature, the scum rises to the top. Every tragic event brings the scam artists and conspiracy nuts out of the woodwork like vermin. Opportunists that want to turn events to their own advantage to make a buck, a point or to change things to suit their own political agenda.
The fact is until something is done about the big problem of mental illness , events like Sandyhook and others will continue to repeat. Even if they manage to outlaw guns completely the loomies will find a way to accomplish their goals. There are recipes for biological agents and improvised explosives on any number of sites, Army training manuals from several countries are also avilable . Anyone who has ever gone through basic training knows how to do someone in with a rolled up newspaper. (the only saving grace there is that newspapers are rapidly becoming extinct)
As to the anonymity that the internet affords to those who lack the courage of their convictions, I draw a parallel to the CB radio fad that struck the U.S. a few decades back. When someone was determined to be a nuisance either by dint of jamming other CB'ers or running too much power and interfering with other channels, the CB community would track him down via triangulation and settle his hash either by legal or extra-legal means. I don't know if such a remedy exists on the internet to accomplish the same end and I would never suggest that vigilante justice is a proper means of dealing with the problem. For my part I post my proper name right next to my "handle" as do many others. Not for any feeling of moral superiority but to take ownership of what I write and make public.

Hmmmm, seems to me it's like separating metals, when the pressure get's high enough and the slag appears on the surface you scrape it off and purify the mix.....
Oh - I am gonna go to hell for suggesting that huh??
I agree with you wholeheartedly about the nut cases, but disagree strongly about the gun regulation. My dad was murdered (with a brick) on a day when he wasn't carrying his pistols. The more people around who are armed, the safer I feel. Our state of Mississippi does it right. In general, if it's in sight, it's legal. And that's the way it oughta be. That said, I don't want to create a thread about gun regulation or the lack thereof. Like many Americans from our South, they just make me feel safer.
