Wood length

Post by Chris P »

Could anyone tell me how long the pieces of wood should be that are attached to the stakes on the sides of the bed?

Thanks!

Chris,

The pieces of wood that attach to the stakes, ie, the troop seat backrests, are 75" long. The troop seat bottom wood pieces are 60" long on the passenger side and 74" long on the driver side.

Hope that helps.

Hi Molder,

I asked the same question sometime last year and the answer I got back was that they came from the factory with either white or red oak. I can't confirm that positively.....but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in here shortly. Guys...................

thanks,
