Rubber headlight bushing installation

Post by pwrwagonfire »

Good evening.

Tonight I got my headlight buckets and mounting brackets torn apart and cleaned up ready for paint. I purchased new rubber headlight bushings from midwest military last week to replace the nasty hard as a rock ones that were on my truck.

My question is, how did you guys install the new bushings on your trucks? I had to cut the old ones out with a razor blade, and the new ones don't look like they want to squeeze as easily as I had hoped!

Thanks in advance
