Type of winch??

That's not an M-37 winch. It's a deuce and half winch, M-35 and all of it's siblings, it was made by Garwood if I remember correctly. It's missing a plate that keeps the two sides together and both fairleads.

It can be used with the M-37, It fits between the frame rails. I know it, I have an M37 and used to have an M43 equipped with those winchs.

Awesome! I actually had realized that myself but didnt wanna argue with anyone. When i finally took it to my friend and we figured out what it is. He wasnt saying put grease in it he thought i was talking about a grease nipple found on the smaller winch.haha
