Best Gasket Material for Brake Fluid?

Hi Guys,

I'm rebuilding a master cylinder and need to make a new top cover gasket. What gasket material is most resistant to Brake Fluid (Dot 3 or 4)?

What was the original made out of? Cork? or that fiber paper? I would think you would want to make the new gasket out of the same material as the original.
