Hi Guys,
Looking at the ORD it says the three flexible brake hoses/lines for the front axle (frame to diff and diff to wheel cylinders) are the same part number, while the rear line that goes from the frame tee down to the differential is another part number. The rear hose is longer than the front three. But the folks I see selling these brake lines as a kit include 2 short and 2 long hoes, not 3 short and 1 long...per the ORD. Should the front hose from the frame to the front diff be the longer hose....or the shorter one.....or does it not make any difference?
thanks,
bob

Re: Flexible Brake Line Info/Help
Bob,
That sounds about right...when I did my brake system rebuild the front 3 were the same, and the rear was a different part #.
I have a couple #s here if it helps you out...
Front Flex Line (ALL): NAPA UBP4000, Raybestos BH 4000, Car Quest SP182
Rear Flex Line: NAPA UBP4900, Raybestos BH 4900, Car Quest SP192
Hope that this helps!
