Finally, a right side mirror!

Post by Tim Powell »

The body mount bracket came from Midwest Military.
The mirror and arm came from VPW
The labor to install came from my Lori!!
(by the way, the paint wasn't even dry when I shot these pictures)
I'll post larger shots on the last page of my photo album!

I think I have the same right side mirror setup. It is very handy, especially when backing into my crowded garage. On my truck it looks a little odd since I have the rectangular driver's side mirror, and the round passenger side mirror. Was there an OEM mirror for the right side?

Tim,

That looks great. Does the door make contact with the mirror when fully open...or does the door stop arm catch it?

regards,

Thanks for the kind words Guys!
I used the same mirror on the right as I had on the left. "Matched set" now if you will.
Right now it does not make contact with the door but it really needs to be moved/turned back a bit at more of an angle.
I can't see the side of the trailer unless I lean way to the right and them the Wife wants to make-out!
I don't know if it will hit then, and I need to try it with the window rolled up once.

Heh, heh. So the real reason for the mirror is now revealed.

Hi Tim,

I enlarged the pictures for you, hope you don't mind. I had a hard time seeing your handy work.

Can you post a picture with the door open and window up?
