Equipment Trailer Deck Pics

Post by Carter »

With the help of my friend Ralph, we were able to replace the decayed timber deck with expanded metal. The original consisted of 2 in. by 10 in. untreated timber topped with 4 ft. by 8 ft. by 3/4 in. plywood. I would not have been able to do the work by myself due to my back surgery but Ralph helped me move, cut and weld the expanded metal which gave me a lighter, stronger and non dirt catching deck.

Well Tony, like I said in my PM to you, "I just cant sit still", my back has not given me any trouble and the healing progress I have made draws comments from my doctor and others that they have never seen someone heal so quickly.

Doctor has no problems with me but cautions go slowly. Sandy however tells me a different story of caution, rest and horror stories of problems others she knows who had gone back to early and caused complication which resulted in another visit to the surgeon and his knife.

Very nice. Good to see you up and about Carter, don't over do it though
If you lived closer I would borrow that trailer and tractor often :) Nice work.

You would be welcome to them David, I did use the tractor yesterday, hooked the 3 point hitch New Holland finish mower and cut all my overgrowing lawn. Easier than using the little 20" cut push mower. :D
